Turn the lights off and let your design glow with a custom glow in the dark DTF transfer from DTF Transfers Australia. Under normal lighting it is a full-colour print. Charge it under a bright light, take it into the dark and it gives off a pale glow. Each transfer is printed in Brisbane on a 280 × 390 mm cut sheet.
How bright the glow is and how long it lasts depends on how you charged it. Dark printed areas do not glow the same way, so lighter parts of your artwork will show the effect most. It is a fun choice for kids’ wear, Halloween and party shirts, glow runs, concerts and night events.
Upload your artwork, place it on the sheet exactly where you want it and check out. You can add one design or several, as long as everything fits inside the 280 × 390 mm sheet. Glow in the dark transfers suit cotton, polyester, blends and other garment-friendly materials when applied with a heat press and a cold peel. Test before a production run, as the effect needs charging.
- Cotton and most fabrics: press at 160°C for 8 seconds with firm pressure, then let it cool completely before you peel.
- Polyester and heat-sensitive fabrics need different settings, so check the transfer fitting instructions and test first.
- Use a heat press, or a Cricut EasyPress when it fully covers the design. A household iron is not suitable.
- No finishing sheet is supplied, so use your own baking paper, parchment or Teflon sheet when pressing.
- Upload PNG, JPG, WebP or PDF files only. Transparent PNG artwork at 300 DPI where possible gives the cleanest result.
Standard production is 3 to 5 business days. Speciality finishes are cut sheets only, so this design is printed on its own 280 × 390 mm sheet rather than a 28 cm or 58 cm gang sheet. Always test on a spare garment before a production run. Each sheet is printed to order from your artwork, so we don’t accept change-of-mind returns. Please check your layout carefully before you check out. Full steps are in our transfer fitting instructions.
