Question 1

Who are these DTF video guides for?

Accepted Answer

They are created for Australian small businesses, apparel decorators, clubs, schools, brands and individuals who want to order or apply ready-to-press DTF transfers. They also help with information relating to information around DTF Businesses and processes and news.

Question 2

Do I need to own a DTF printer?

Accepted Answer

No. Most guides focus on ordering ready-to-press transfers and applying them with a suitable heat press. Where in-house printing is discussed, it will be clearly identified.

Question 3

Can I use the same heat-press settings for every DTF transfer?

Accepted Answer

No. Film, adhesive, fabric and specialty finishes can require different settings and peel methods. Always follow the instructions supplied with the exact transfer and test on a spare garment.

Question 4

Are the written instructions still important if I watch the video?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The video demonstrates the process, while the written guide provides settings, checklists, internal links and details that are easier to reference during production.

Question 5

Will the videos help me troubleshoot failed transfers?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Troubleshooting videos will cover common causes such as moisture, uneven pressure, inaccurate temperature, unsuitable fabrics, dye migration and incorrect peeling. Product faults or unresolved problems should still be discussed with the transfer supplier.

Question 6

How often will new videos be added?

Accepted Answer

New videos will be added as useful topics and updated demonstrations become available. Subscribe to our YouTube or revisit this page to see the latest guides.
