Artwork Requirements

• Files must be PNG format with transparent backgrounds.
• Artwork resolution should be 300 DPI.
• Use our Online Design Tool for sizing and auto nesting for economy and precision.
• Artwork should not have elements narrower than 4px (1mm) to avoid adhesion issues.
• Ensure files do not exceed 150MB.
• Backgrounds must be fully transparent; artwork will be printed exactly as it is received.
• Please be aware that a 4px clear outline will be printed around the design.

How to press a step‑by‑step guide

THESE ARE NOT IRON-ON TRANSFERS. ENSURE YOU DO YOUR OWN TESTING PRIOR TO FITTING ONTO FINISHED GARMENTS.

Hot Peel Instructions:

• Prep Stage: Use a lint roller to remove any unwanted fibres from the garment. Place your shirt or fabric onto the heat press. Perform a pre-press to remove any moisture from the garment, and flatten the print surface.
• Apply the Transfer to Your Garment: Position the transfer on the garment with the adhesive side facing down. Ensure that it’s correctly placed before applying heat.
• Place the Cover Sheet over the Transfer. Gently place the cover sheet over the transfer, you can use a Teflon sheet, or parchment paper
• Press the Transfer: Close the heat press onto the transfer and apply heat and Firm Pressure. The time and temperature will depend on your specific heat press and the transfer, but a general rule of thumb is around 140-145 degrees Celsius for 15-20 seconds.
• Hot Peel: After the heat press cycle, open the press, remove the cover sheet, wait 5 seconds and gently peel off the film from the corner to the opposite side. The design should now be transferred to your garment.
• Final Cure: To ensure the durability of the print, do a final cure. This step again requires the heat press, typically at the same temperature, press for an additional 10-20 seconds, with the cover sheet placed directly over the transfer.

Wait for the print to fully cool prior to folding the T Shirt and packaging.

Also ensure to wash your newly printed garment inside out on a gentle cycle, cool to cold wash, to maintain the quality of the print. Air dry and avoid using a tumble dryer. It’s also recommended not to iron directly onto the design (Iron the T Shirt inside out if necessary). Enjoy your custom printed garment!

General Care Instructions for the Finished Product

To keep your Custom T Shirt looking great:

• Machine washable, Cold to Cool Wash on a Gentle Cycle for convenience.
• Do not bleach or use harsh chemicals. (we recommend using OMO Sensitive for detergent)
• Do not tumble dry to maintain the integrity of the print and the fabric.
• Do not iron directly on the print to avoid damage to the custom designs.

• What is a DTF gang sheet?
  A gang sheet lets you place multiple designs on one long sheet and buy it by the metre (28 cm or 58 cm wide). It saves money because you’re using every bit of space.

  What widths do you offer?
  28 cm and 58 cm wide. You choose how many meters you need.

  How much do they cost?
  From $19.95 per metre (28 cm) and $25.95 per meter (58 cm). Volume discounts apply (see below).

  Do you offer volume discounts?
  Yes: 5% (11–20 m), 10% (21–50 m), 15% (51–100 m), 20% (100 m+) All discounts are applied at the checkout page.

  Is there a minimum order?
  No minimum, order gang sheets from 1 metre.

  Will my metres come as one continuous roll?
  We do our best to supply your metres as one continuous length. If there’s a reason it can’t be continuous, we will make the sheets as long as possible.

  Can I mix widths in the same order?
  You can order both widths, but they’ll be printed and charged separately.

  How do I know how many designs will fit in a metre?
  Add up the width of your sheet (28 cm or 58 cm) and divide your artwork into rows/columns. If you’re unsure, upload your files, we’ll auto‑nest and you’ll see how it fits.

  Turnaround, Shipping & Pick‑up

  What’s the handling time?
  Typically 3 to 6 business days (not counting weekends or public holidays).

  Do you offer local pick‑up?
  Yes, Brisbane (Norman Park). Choose “Local Pick‑up” at checkout.

  Do you ship Australia wide?
  Absolutely. We ship Australia wide with Australia Post tracked shipping.

  Do you offer rush or same‑day?

  Artwork & File Prep

  What file type do you need?
  PNG with a transparent background works the best.

  What resolution should I use?
  300 DPI for best results.

  Is there a max file size?
  Yes, 150 MB per file.

  Do I need to mirror my artwork?
  No, we handle that in the production process.

  Minimum line width / small text?
  Keep line widths greater than 1 mm and avoid tiny, ultra‑thin text.

  Can I use gradients, halftones or semi‑transparent areas?
  Yes, but very light transparencies can look patchy. Solid colours give the most consistent results, and using halftones will give the best outcome.

  RGB or CMYK?
  Either is fine—RGB is okay. We’ll manage the conversion for printing.

  Will colours match my screen exactly?
  Screens vary. We aim for accurate colour, but colour matches aren’t guaranteed due to the process. If colour is critical, ask us about supplying the digital swatches and printed swatch files, these do come with a cost but will allow you to colour match your files..

  Do you auto‑nest my designs on the gang sheet?
  Yes, our online designer has an auto‑nest feature to make the most of your sheet (or you can lay it out yourself if you prefer).

  Printing, Pressing & Aftercare

  Are these iron‑on transfers?
  No. You’ll need a heat press (not a home iron or Cricut EasyPress).

  What fabrics can I press onto?
  Most cotton, polyester and blends. For heat‑sensitive performance fabrics, use lower temps and do your own test first.

  What press settings do you recommend (standard garments)?
  140-145 °C, 15-20 seconds, firm pressure, hot peel (wait 5 seconds and peel). Post‑press 10-20 seconds under parchment/Teflon is recommended.

  What about heat‑sensitive garments (nylon/performance poly)?
  Try our Low Temp Adhesive Transfers as they are designed for this difficult to fit material. Always test on a scrap or hidden area first.

  How do I care for the garment after pressing?
  Wait 24 hours before washing. Cold wash, inside out. No bleach. Avoid high heat in a clothes dryer. Don’t iron directly on the print.

  Problems & Reprints

  My edges lifted when peeling, what went wrong?
  Usually not enough pressure or time. Re‑press for 2–3 seconds with a touch more pressure.

  The print feels shiny or plasticky.
  Likely over‑pressed. Drop the temp/time slightly or give it a quick post‑press with parchment for a more matte feel.

  The print cracked or peeling after washing.
  Normally under‑pressing or peeling too late. Re-check your time, temp, pressure and peel immediately.

  What if I sent the wrong file or low‑quality art?
  We print what you provide. If the file’s not suitable, we’ll try to flag it, but we can’t guarantee catches on every issue. Reprints due to artwork problems are at your cost.

  What if there’s a print defect?
  If there’s a clear production fault on our side, we’ll reprint the affected section. Contact us with photos and your order number.

  Misc

  Do you offer a sample pack?
  Yes, learn more about our DTF sample pack here, this lets you feel the finish, stretch and how they fit.

  Can you help me design or fix my files?
  No we do not create or fix artwork for you. You can use a service like Fiverr to fix your files, or you can do it yourself using an app like Photopea.

  Is GST included?

We are now supplying our gang sheets with standard white hot‑melt adhesive as it is easy to fit and robust.
